Very few books have been written about the early Croats and their history remains in virtual 'terra incognita' to the English-speaking world. This book has been written, specifically in the English language, about the history of the early Croats; from the emergence and evolution of the proto-Croatian tribes to the establishment and demise of the various Croatian national states throughout the ancient times and the medieval periods.
